Early Sunday afternoon the company was dispatched for a dwelling fire on Shipwrighter Way. Chief 17 arrived first and reported nothing showing from the exterior. 5TH DISTRICT AWARDS -TWO TOWAMENCIN FIREFIGHTERS AWARDED

On Wednesday,Feburary 21st, Two of our firefighters were awarded for their service. Deputy Chief James Dauphinee was awarded Firefighter of the year for the 5th District. Fire Police Sgt. Wally Hendricks was honored for his years of service. Congratulations to both. The dinner was held at Station 62. Our guest speaker for the evening was Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers.

On the 3rd day of the New Year, Towamencin, along with Ladder 89, was dispatched to 412 Calverton Ct. for a dwelling fire. PD first on scene reporting heavy fire on the first floor. On Saturday July 14, 2007 the Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company ompeted against nine area fire companies in the 5th District Water Battle in Worcester Township.
